The 2017 release of Macallan Gran Reserva single malt features whisky matured predominantly in first-fill European oak sherry seasoned casks, selected by the distillery’s Master of Wood. The whisky was aged for 15 years (this was the first time Macallan’s Gran Reserva was bottled at this age) before being bottled at 43% ABV. A highly sought-after release from the legendary distillery.
