“OMAR Single Malt Whisky (HARVEST SERIES NO.4)” is an expression centered around a forest theme. Apart from using “Bourbon casks,” “Peated malt new make,” “Orange Brandy Brandy Casks,” and “Harvest NO.3,” it also marks the first-time usage of “Lychee liqueur casks” and “Virgin oak casks” for blending. Upon the initial nosing, one is greeted with a refreshing combination of mint and grassy notes. The mid-layer reveals fruity aromas like citrus and mango. The finale is characterized by woody tones, leaving behind an elegant and invigorating fragrance reminiscent of strolling through a green forest, catching a whiff of the fragrant air. The taste is sweet, smooth, and velvety, with hints of orange zest, wood, and spicy notes in the mid to latter stages. It feels as if surrounded by majestic trees, deeply moved by the abundant vitality of the forest.
