Nose:Rich and complex with prominent aromas of dried fruits (raisins, figs), dark chocolate, and well-aged oak. There’s also a touch of leather, spice (clove, cinnamon) and soft Mizunara incense-like woodiness.
Palate:Silky and full-bodied. Bursting with flavors of blackberry, strawberry jam, and bittersweet dark chocolate. Balanced by layers of orange zest, peach, roasted malt, and delicate wood spice. The sherry and port influence gives a luxurious fruitiness, while Mizunara oak lends subtle sandalwood and oriental spice.
Finish:Long, smooth, and evolving. Notes of toasted oak, malt sweetness, lingering jammy fruits, and a gentle wave of spice and smoke.
