Unlike the original A’bunadh series, which is matured in sherry casks, the A’bunadh Alba is exclusively aged in first-fill American oak casks that previously held bourbon. This maturation imparts a distinct profile characterized by sweet orchard fruits, honey, vanilla, and subtle spice notes. Bottled at cask strength of 58.9% ABV, it offers a robust and creamy texture, delivering flavors of citrus zest, baked apples, and a hint of toasted almonds. The finish is smooth and sweet, with lingering notes of roasted almonds and a touch of ginger.
